IntelSat 1002 Ku Band

The Intelsat-10 02 is the largest and most powerful satellites ever procured by Intelsat, the international telecommunications satellite operator, to provide various communications services including fixed telephone and data services, broadcast and news gathering. The IS-10-12 is a premium landmass orbital role that will provide coverage for Europe, Africa and Middle East.

Intelsat 10-02, is located at 359 degrees East, Uniquely, the IS-10-12 satellite has 3 steerable Ku-Band spot beams, 2 of which are rotatable, allowing the coverage of any visible area from 359 degree East, while providing better coverage of the target geographic market. IS-10-02's 150W TWTAs ensure the highest power available in the market today. Equipped with Automatic Level Control (ALC) feature enabling the satellite to maintain constant satellite e.i.r.p even in case of uplink signal degradation.
